Pretty Poinsettia

This is the first for this stamp, I bought it last autumn at the SECC and haven't had the time to use it and worse still there are more like it waiting to make their debut.

The decorative paper's origins are so lost in the mists of time it's unreal, I must have bought this years ago and this is not the first card I've made from it, there was only just enough for this wee 6x6 card.  I've used lots of die cuts on this card, the image was stamped onto Spellbinders Labels One and matted and layered with the same.  The sentiment was stamped and matted and layered onto Spellbinders Classic Circles Large and Small, and then matted onto Spellbinders Ironworks Motifs, I've added some small star sticky jewels to give a bit of a lift to the sentiment.  The gold twirly bits (this is a technical term) are from Die-namics Fancy Flourish and the holly is from Cheery Lynn Dies and is called Holly Flourish.  At the top righthand side of the card I've used the smallest of the Spellbinders Ironworks Motifs and I've cut up one of the Fancy Flourishes and arranged it around the motif to balance out the card and added a sticky jewel for some bling.

The stamp is from LOTV and called Pretty Poinsettia and it certainly is very pretty.  She was coloured with the usual suspects, Copics  E00,000,08,09,11,40,41,43.  Y21,23,23.  R20,32,35,37,39.  G24,28,39.  W0,1,2,3,5.  C0,1.  Not a big list for such a lovely image.  The fur trims are as usual trimmed with Glamour Dust, it really shows up so well in the photos and gives such a lot of sparkle to the card.

That's all for this card, I hope you like it as much as I do.  Have a great day.  Hugz, Janice
