Cricut Flower Card

This is a card I made a long while ago and the first thing I have to do is apologise for the fact that this is not my original idea but was inspired by someone on the Cricut Message Board.  I think her name was Isabella Wheadon and she was quite happy for me to make and show this card although it is not a direct copy of her card.  This is still one of my favourite cards of all time.

It was made on my Cricut Expressions using StoryBook for the circles, flowers and swirlies and I think, Home Accents for the leaves.  I've embellished with yellow pearls and glitter gel pens.  The sentiments are silver peel offs.  I hope you like this one as much as I do.  Isabella is a very talented lady.

I am hoping things will get back to normal for me soon, my kitchen is almost finished being fitted and then it will need decorated.  Hugz, Janice

Cricut Flutterbyes

I made the butterflies on my Cricut using Storybook cartridge, they're very ornate and made in two layers, the top layer was embossed with the Cuttlebug..

I'm not really a pink person but I love the colours of this card, right down to the pink pearls from Kaiser Craft.  I don't have a name for the paper, it came from pre-blogging days.  It was quick and easy to make.

That's all for today, I'm still in the kitchen trying to put things to rights.  The electrics won't be finished until Friday and there are still some small joinery things to be done, goodness knows when they'll be complete.   Happy crafting, Janice

Oh Baby!!!!!

Good morning all!  I have two baby cards to show you, both made with my Cricut.

These were made using my Cricut Expressions and the Design Studio.  The wording came from Storybook, which is one of my most useful carts, and the bootees from New Arrivals.  I used the design studio to 'weld' them all together, cut them from plain white card and edged with glitter gel pens to make them stand out. I'm sorry I can't give you the name of the paper, it was bought a couple of years ago from the Glasgow craft show, it was on the Sizzix stand and those papers have no names printed on them at all.  The silver edging is a peel-off and the dots are holographic peel-off dots in silver.

Once the design studio work was done and saved, these were very quick and easy cards to make, and I think, quite effective.  Whoever gets these cards won't have any duplicates, as so often happens with shop bought ones.  I hope you like these cards, I haven't shown you any Cricut cards so far.  And I'm ashamed to tell you I have been neglecting my Cricut in favour of my Cuttlebug, Spellbinders and stamping.
