I made this card for the challenge over at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown called Snowflakes. There's snowflakes everywhere on this card. I'd also like to enter it into Lots of Layers over on Crafty Hazelnuts Christmas Challenge .
The papers I've used are some of my oldest and I've very vague memories of this being a pack from Papermania (perhaps) from maybe 7 years ago. If anyone has a better memory than me, please let me know, it would be nice to have some info as I've loads left and I'll use it again. It's sad when the memory goes, old age doesn't come alone. LOL. The Spellbinders I've used are Ironworks Motifs, which I've inked while still in the die, and the Christmas tree from Fanciful Holiday. I've used some of the leftovers from punching out Martha Stewart's Aspen Snowflake, stuck them on and popped on some tiny little jewels in the middle of each one. The Merry Christmas came preformed, as did the snowflake in the middle of the largest Ironworks Motif, I picked them up at the NEC show in the autumn, this is a link to their website Crystals and Gems UK . The tree is decorated with sticky gems from Papermania. A fairly quick and easy card to make, the paper pack makes it sooo much quicker to choose matching papers.
I'm off to do some food shopping this morning and start to pack up our caravan ready for our wee break away next week. Hugz, Janice
