A Snowman Get Together

First, I'll apologise for the photography, we couldn't get the true soft colours of the card to come true, no matter what we tried.  I bought this stamp a couple of years ago and haven't used it much but with the Copics it's a delight to colour.

The base for this card is from Craftwork Cards and is 8X8 inches, this is a big stamp.  I've matted and layered using a pink background and the decorative card is from Nitwits - Joyful Hearts - Swirls Blue, I've had this for ages and haven't found anything worth using it for.  The stamp is from Stamps Happen, Inc. and is called Snowman Collection, the stamp itself is about 5 inches square and such a lot to colour but easy to do.  I've stamped on to a Grand Scalloped Square in white and layered with another in turquoise blue satin mirri card from Kanban, I've also used the satin mirri card to cut out two Memory Box Frosty Borders.  The sentiment is a silver peel off mounted onto Standard Circles, large and small, and then onto an Ironworks Motif.  The embellishment on the top is another Ironworks Motif with a jewel for some bling and to balance up the card design.  I cut out a Die-namics Fancy Flourish and cut it to pieces and used them to stick behind the motif rather than just leaving it plain, again to balance out the design of the Frosty Borders.

And now for the Copics list E15,31,35,37,40,41,43,50,51,53,79.  YR00,04,07.  Y21,23,26.  W0,1,2.  C0,1,2,3,5,7.  G00,20,21,24,27,29.  B91,93,95,97.  R20,22,24,27,29,37,39.  YG93,95,97.

I hope you like this one, I love it.  It's sitting on the shelf in my craftroom, so I can look at it and get inspiration to do more of them, maybe in a different colourway, although I do like the beautiful soft colours of this one, I'm sorry it didn't photograph well.  Maybe I'll try again in the daylight this weekend and see if I can get it more true to life.

Have a great and crafty weekend.  We are bringing the caravan out of storage on Saturday for it's spring clean, so I guess I'll be too busy to get much crafting done and my daughter and my grandson are coming to visit on Sunday.  If it's dry down the Ayrshire coast that's where we'll be, possibly a picnic lunch, probably in the car and then a walk on the beach and an ice cream somewhere in our day.  Hugz, Janice
